Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Says West Should “Understand” Supply of Heavy Weapons
Ukraine’s Deputy Defense Minister Hina Maliar said on Sunday that Western allies should “understand” that the supply of heavy weapons to Ukraine is not a “one-time aid” but must continue until “victory”.
“The influx of weapons has begun, but a strong rebuke to the Russian military is not enough,” he said. “We will always need support because we have already entered a long war. The West must understand that this is not a one-time aid but a victory.

“The international army has proved itself in the war,” Maliar said, adding that the liberation of Kyiv, and now international fighters, are “in the hottest places.”
