BIG WIN! Burna Boy Wins Best African Act At MTV EMAs 2022 (Do You Think He Deserved It?)
The MTV Europe Music Awards named Nigerian musician Burna Boy Best African Act for the calendar year 2022.
Burna Boy has won in this category twice, having done so for the first time in 2019.
This year, his co-nominees include Nigeria’s Terms and Ayra Starr, and Ghanaian Black Sherif.
Tems also lost the Best New Act prize to Seventeen.
Nigerian disc Jockey DJ Spinall was one of the artists who performed at the award show that held in Dusseldorf, Germany
